4 Quick BFCM Email Hacks That Can Unlock Thousands in Extra Revenue

The Inbox Newsletter

Hey it’s Max from The Inbox Newsletter.

There’s a reason some brands dominate BFCM… and it’s not just better discounts.

They know how to work the inbox!!!

Here are 4 last-minute hacks that can squeeze more sales out of your list without sending another discount.

Key Takeaways:

  • Slight tweaks to your sender name can skyrocket your open rates.

  • Avoid peak send times to beat the inbox rush.

  • Add a persistent offer slice across all emails, even flows.

  • Resend high-performing campaigns with new SLs and PTs to capture missed opens

1. Add “SALE” or “REWARDS” to Your Sender Name

You’re not the only one sending emails this week…

In fact, there will be more emails in the next 2 weeks than damn near all of last quarter.

Adding words like “SALE” or “REWARDS” to your sender name helps your emails stand out when your subscribers are scrolling through an inbox.

Example:
Instead of From: Solara, try From: Solara SALE or From: Solara REWARDS.

It gives a tiny open-rate boost that scales into $$$ when you're sending to big lists.

2. Send at Weird Times

Everyone is sending at 8:00am, 12:00pm, and 4:00pm on the dot.

You don’t want to be everyone.

Instead of sending at 8:00am sharp, try 8:07am. Or 10:19am.

These oddball send times help you dodge sending emails at the same time as everyone and get top inbox placement when fewer emails are hitting at once.

It’s such a small change but often boosts opens + clicks across the board.

3. Add an Offer Slice to the Top of Every Email

Don’t make people scroll to find your offer.

Every email you send this week, campaigns and flows, can have a “slice” at the top: “🔥 BFCM Is LIVE — 30% OFF Sitewide. Ends Soon [Shop Now]”

That means even if you’re sending a “thank you” email, a post-purchase email, or a browse abandoner…

Your sale is always front and center.

And you can send nurture content (like this below example) while still having your sale in people’s faces.

4. Resend Emails with New Subject Lines + Preview Texts

One of the highest-ROI moves you can make is to take your campaigns and then resend it 24–48 hours later with a fresh subject line and preview text.

Same body, same offer, same list, just a different hook.

Example:
Original SL: “The Sale You’ve Been Waiting For Is Here”
Resend SL: “🛍️ You Still Have Time — 30% OFF Ends Soon”

This one move can pull an easy 25%-50% extra in revenue from a single send.

(PS - if you only want to send this resend to people who didn’t open the first send I have instructions for that here.)

BFCM isn’t just about doing more, it’s about doing smarter!!!!

These 4 hacks take under a few minutes to implement and can unlock real revenue.

You’re already sending emails, just make sure they’re getting seen.
