I found a website conversion strategy that I think is going to be huge in 2026.

Most popups are boring.

Generic 10% off, enter your email, maybe your phone number, and that's it.

Even quiz pop-ups (which I talk about all the time) are becoming standard.

Customers see them, answer a few questions, and move on.

But what if your popup actually educated people and got them excited about your product before they even started browsing?

That's what Obvi is doing.

The first part looks pretty standard.

But here’s where things get interesting.

Most people click yes. They already spent time entering their info. Why leave 5% on the table?

Clicking yes takes them to another question…

What's your goal with Obvi?

This gives them even more data on the customer while keeping the experience going.

Then the quiz turns into a mini sales page.

Obvi’s pop-up dual functions as a quiz and a conversion mechanism.

Instead of more questions, they start educating.

"Our bodies need collagen as we age." They show a chart of collagen production declining over time. Stats are a great way to establish authority for your brandand show you’ve done your research.

Then they hit you with a real customer transformation. Before and after photos with dates are what convince you the product actually works.

By the time you hit "Claim my reward," you're not a cold visitor anymore.

You understand why collagen matters, you've seen proof it works, and you're ready to buy.

The visitor goes from "maybe I'll look around" to "I need this" before they close the popup.

Notes:
Love the usage timeline email! It sets expectations so customers don't quit before the product works. Without this, someone takes creatine for a week, feels nothing, and cancels. With this, they know week 1 is supposed to feel like nothing and they keep going.
