Stop Sending The Default Shopify Confirmation Email

You know that basic Shopify order confirmation email that every brand sends?

The plain black and white one that looks like a receipt from 2012?

Yeah, most brands want to get rid of that... And they really should!

Because your order confirmation is the most opened email you will ever send…

Someone just gave you their money and you're hitting them with a plain-text scary receipt with zero branding and education.

The best way to fix this is by building a custom order confirmation inside Klaviyo.

You can add your full branding, product education, benefits of what they just bought, and footer buttons that link back to your store…

That footer alone drives extra clicks and revenue from people who literally just purchased from you.

Now here's the catch 😅 

You need Shopify Plus to do this.

Shopify Plus starts at $2K/month or 0.25% of monthly revenue once you pass $800K/month in sales, so this isn't for every brand.

But if you or your client is already on Plus, here's how to set it up:

1) Build your custom order confirmation email inside Klaviyo.

2) Design it with your branding, product education, benefits, footer links, etc.

3) Once it's live, contact Shopify support directly and ask them to turn off the default Shopify confirmation. Super easy to do. You can’t do it yourself so you have to go through them.

The difference is night and day, right?

If you're on Plus and still rocking the default receipt, this is your sign.
