Don't Just Throw Out 10% OFF... Test Your Offers (10x Placed Order Increase Examples)

I just wanted to do a quick email today to stress to you the importance of testing your offers.
Attached below is an A/B test we recently ran for a brand of ours…
We tested two different offers for a Winback flow email (someone bought 4 months ago and hasn’t purchased since).
To bring these people back, they were running an offer.
We decided to A/B test the offer.
Some people respond differently to different offers, especially at different parts of the customer journey.
People who have never bought before may be more inclined to buy from simple $ OFF or % OFF to try out your products.
Whereas past purchasers may be more inclined to buy off of a bundle offer, or a free gift, or some sort of store credit.
We tested two offers for this client.
Here are the results:

AB Test Results
Top Option:
- Open Rate: 51.4%
- Click Rate: 0.85
- Placed Orders: 1 placed order
Bottom Option:
- Open Rate: 52.88%
- Click Rate: 5.77% (6.8x increase in click rate)
- Placed Orders: 10 (10x placed orders)
Insane results that will result in a much higher LTV for their customers now that we know this info and will keep this offer live.
TEST YOUR OFFERS.
Don’t just throw out a 10% off and use it blindly.
Use 10% off, test it vs other offers, and move forward with the winners.
BONUS TIP
Black Friday is coming… and you want to make sure your offer is the highest converting for your audience.
Choose a small part of your audience during Labor Day to test a couple different offers that you may run for BFCM.
Whatever offer wins, run that kind of offer for BFCM 😉
