A Sneaky Way To Get More Clicks From Every Email

When was the last time you thought about your email footer?

The footer is the ONE section that stays exactly the same across…

So if you optimize it once, it gets you clicks and $$$ on every campaign and flow going forward.

Today, I'm walking you through the exact footer structure we build that increases click rates 25%+.

The footer is one of the most-clicked sections in your entire email.

Customers who didn't connect with the products you featured in the regular email scroll to the bottom looking for another way in.

That means if the only thing waiting for them down there is legal text and an unsubscribe link, you just lost a warm customer…

Case in point: On a recent email we sent, the footer alone drove MORE clicks than the core email content itself:

You're basically running a second store at the bottom of every email…

1) Category Buttons

This is a non-negotiable…

A simple grid of "Shop Skincare / Shop Body / Shop Hair" or whatever the brand's main categories are.

The customer who doesn't want your featured product still wants something, so give them the option to find it!

You'll turn a lot of "scrolled past" moments into actual sales.

2) Unique Selling Points

This is your risk reversal and core selling points. Things like "Free shipping over $50," "90-day money-back guarantee," "Made in USA," or "Trusted by 100K+ customers."

As a brand, you want the last thing they see to reinforce trust, not just the unsubscribe link.

3) Social Proof

The footer is the perfect place to show them you're the real deal before they close the email.

Rotate through star ratings ("★★★★★ 10,000+ reviews"), press logos, UGC photos , or trust badges like "Made in USA" or "60-Day Guarantee" to prove you've got the receipts.

And if you have room, throw in a "Tag us @brandname and we'll feature you on our story" or "Follow us for new drops and behind the scenes" to keep them in your world after they close the email.

It builds your social presence at zero cost plus the customers who actually engage with those CTAs tend to become your highest-LTV customers anyway.

As a note, make sure to keep these light! You want a few clean rows, instead of a whole other email built on the bottom lol.
